A travel media and creative studio rooted in slow travel, hospitality, and a deeper sense of place.
● AboutThe Real Bonne Vivante helps hotels, destinations, and travel brands tell stories with more depth, context, and care.
Who We Are
Our work is shaped by slow travel, boutique hospitality, cultural awareness, and the belief that the strongest travel brands are built through a clear point of view. We create visual and editorial work that helps people understand not only how a place looks, but why it matters.
Our Philosophy
-
A bonne vivante is someone who lives with taste, curiosity, and an appreciation for life’s richer textures.
For us, that does not mean luxury for luxury’s sake. It means seeking beauty with depth. It means caring about the food, the architecture, the landscape, the rituals, the history, the people, and the quiet details that make a place feel alive.
The Real Bonne Vivante was built around that way of seeing the world.
-
Slow travel is the foundation of the brand.
It is a way of traveling that values time, context, and connection over speed and consumption. It asks travelers to notice more, stay longer, move more thoughtfully, and understand the places they visit with greater care.
We work in this niche because we believe the strongest travel experiences are not built around checking off destinations. They are built around a deeper relationship with place.
-
We are drawn to hospitality with soul.
That may look like a boutique hotel rooted in its landscape, an eco-lodge protecting the environment around it, a family-run property preserving local traditions, or a design-led retreat that understands restraint, rhythm, and atmosphere.
We believe in places that offer more than a beautiful setting. The best hospitality has a point of view. It gives guests a reason to feel connected, not just impressed.
-
To us, barefoot luxury is ease without excess.
It is the feeling of being deeply cared for without everything feeling overproduced. It is natural materials, thoughtful design, meaningful details, generous hospitality, and a sense of place that has not been polished into anonymity.
This is the kind of luxury The Real Bonne Vivante is most interested in: quiet, rooted, sensory, and human.
-
Travel storytelling carries responsibility.
A destination is not a backdrop. It is a living place shaped by people, history, land, craft, foodways, belief systems, and local knowledge. Our work aims to create desire without flattening that complexity.
We look for partners who care about how a place is represented, who benefits from tourism, and how guests are invited to engage with the culture around them.
-
Giving back has always been part of The Real Bonne Vivante’s foundation.
From the beginning, the platform has been connected to conservation-minded storytelling, reforestation, and support for the places and ecosystems that make meaningful travel possible.
As the studio evolves, this remains a core principle. We believe travel should contribute to the long-term health of the places it celebrates, whether through conservation, community support, responsible tourism, or more thoughtful forms of visibility.
-
We are best aligned with hotels, lodges, destinations, and travel brands that care about more than exposure.
The right partners value story, place, design, culture, and long-term brand integrity. They want content that feels beautiful, but also true. They are not trying to look like everyone else. They are trying to communicate what makes their experience meaningful.
That is where The Real Bonne Vivante does its best work.
